Camping
For the last two days, we went to Lake Wenatchee to camp.
The campsite was also excellent. We had a water faucet right in our site, and the lake was really close by. In addition, the camp store was also pretty close, and they had really good ice cream. There was also a small playground near us.
Yesterday, we went ziplining at the Leavenworth Ziplines in the afternoon. The ziplines were in big trees, and when the wind blew, the whole tree and the platform we were on shook in the wind. We had to climb ladders to get to some of the ziplines. The longest zipline was 1409 feet! The highest one was 200 feet above the valley. We got some really good views.
In the night, we watched the Perseid meteor shower. It wasn't the peak, but we still saw quite a few meteors. I saw around ten meteors in thirty minutes. They were just short streaks of white that appeared and disappeared in one or two seconds.
Lake Wenatchee was a nice experience.
