Art Class
Today my mom taught art class. It was on clay modeling.
First, we used a type of clay that was brown and needed baking. At first, I made a turnip on a podium. It was smiling and had hair. It also was very lumpy. Then I made a grid. I dotted it one way and then the other. In the end, I made a "pouch". I flipped it over and it became a sun cresting a hill.
After that, we used a type of modeling clay to make cars. I made mine so fast that it wasn't of very good quality. The wheels were thin and the car's frame was delicate. When I tried balancing the car on my finger, it started slowly bending down on each side. Eventually, it became a "humpback car".
Even though my models were a bit flimsy and I had trouble coming up with ideas sometimes, I still had a lot of fun!
