End of the HOMESTEAD Simulation!
Today was the official end of the HOMESTEAD simulation!
First, everybody totaled up their money. This was done by adding the land values with the current balance. My current balance was $1818, and my land value was $6560. So my total was $8378. That was pretty high, and I think I got around 5th richest. I had so much money because I went on a buying spree for land at the end of the simulation. It was very crazy, and it was exciting seeing how everything turned out.
Next, we had to take a quiz. (This is the boring part.) First, as a group, we talked about the answers to all the questions. We answered them after that. Then, we wrote a letter about if we would stay on the real homestead based on our experiences in the simulation. I said I definitely would because I was starting to get really rich when the simulation ended, and I definitely would have wanted to do it in real life if it had been the same way.
In conclusion, I would love for the simulation to go on, but the school year's ending, and it was really fun anyways, so I guess I'll live with it.
