Why I Play Games

After I was "suspended indefinitely" from electronics, I would like to explain a few reasons why I want to play certain games often.            First of all, I would like to play Clash of Clans - type games often for two reasons. First of all, you are raided in this game. If you want to have any hope of buying ANYTHING at my level, you must accumulate money. Since it takes so long to accumulate money, if you don't keep active during that period, you will be raided. If you get raided and haven't been active for a long time, all your money will be in your gold mines. Even though the game only gives 5% of the resources in your storages, that rule does NOT apply to your gold mines, elixir collectors, and dark elixir mines. Therefore, if someone raids you, they will take ALL of your money. You will never be able to save up to the 200,000 gold that the cheapest thing costs at my level (the most expensive is up to 1,500,000!). Normally, to save up, you raid other

AVALANCHE!!!!! AHHHHH!AH!AH!AH!

Yesterday I was skiing when suddenly the lifties - the people manning the lifts - had bad news. Westbound Highway 2, the highway that we took to get home, was closing for an indefinite amount of time. I was surprised! I told dad to check why and when the road would open. The WSDOT website said around 5:30 for avalanche control, so we kept skiing, and got ready and were in the car by 5:30. They were still blowing up the snow and creating avalanches. I was anxious - what if they took longer? So we sat in the car, ate our sandwiches, and waited. We waited until 7:00. Then we kept waiting. I was getting bored. In the end, we finally got out. It was 8:00 PM and we had sat in the car for 2 hours 30 minutes!!! Then I went to sleep in my bed at home. Home at last! Home at last! Thank God Almighty we are home at last!

Let it Snow

Today on the playground there were many "puddles". These puddles were puddles of water covered with woodchips - so you didn't know they were puddles!           We had a lot of fun with these, especially when people stepped in them. First, Patrick Fan didn't know it was a puddle, and walked right into one that was about three inches deep. His shoe was soaked and he was chewed out by the recess teacher. It was really funny because he was hopping around on one shoe for the rest of recess. Kevin also stepped into one and jumped backwards in shock. It was funny because he went "Whoaaaaaaa!!!" It was also fun to toss things into the puddles. The things just disappeared! We tossed rocks in, and they just went plop and sank. I found it funny and fun to toss the rocks into the puddles.            Another interesting thing was the white foam. It had dried up next to a portable, and it looked like the foam from beaches. It was white and orange and disgustin

Basketball

Sometimes I play basketball with my friends at recess. A game that we play the most is Poison. Poison is a game where you shoot hoops. Everybody takes turns, and when somebody makes a shot, everybody except the scorer runs. The scorer then touches the pole of the hoop with the ball and yells "Poison!" Everybody freezes. The scorer then tosses the ball. If it hits a person - and they can't move - then they get a letter of the word "POISON". When somebody has a POISON, they are dropped out of that round. I like this game because it is very exciting and fast-paced. You can be in one second and out the next. It is also very satisfying to give someone a letter. In conclusion, Poison is a fun and satisfying game!
