Pokemon battles will now take place in the real world.
With the new Pokemon GO, which will release in 2016, people will be able to play the Pokemon game directly in real life. Pokemon is teaming up with Nintendo, Google, and Niantic Studios to create a game where players can interact with the landscape. Niantic Studios created a game called Ingress, a game with a similar idea, except a different theme. People run around trying to solve global mysteries or something, going to places in real life to find virtual things.
In Pokemon GO, people can do everything like in the cartoons. For one, people can track down wild Pokemon. When the player finds one, they have a battle and the player can catch the Pokemon. For another, people can battle other players through bluetooth. People can also team up and try to catch Pokemon together. People can also trade Pokemon.
I can't wait for this new toy to come out - I am really excited to see what it is like!
