New Amazon Drone
Recently there has been a new Amazon drone. Instead of only being a helicopter, the new drone combines the elements of a helicopter and a plane.
This drone is better in a lot of ways. It flies farther (15 miles), and goes higher, up to 400 feet.The drone also stores the packages in the fuselage of the plane, which allows it to not drop the package when it is delivering it. The design is also able to avoid obstacles on the ground and drop the package on the amazon logo, which allows the receivers to receive the package anywhere they want it.
The only problem for the drone is that it faces lots of regulatory hurdles. It has to be approved by the US government. Also, critics have voiced concerns that drones may be susceptible to weather events, bird attacks or other obstacles. This could raise significant environmental concerns, as they could interfere with bird migration, and maybe even cause extinction. There are also privacy issues, as the drone has cameras to sense the obstacles and the drop location.
I think drones still need to be improved before they can be used in the world, as there are too many issues with them.
