“君子安静坦然而不傲慢无礼，小人傲慢无礼而不安静坦然。”

This basically means that well educated people are calm and patient when it comes to important things, and they also don't brag about how smart they are. This also means that people who don't know much think that they are awesome and brag and say how awesome they are a lot. They are also not calm and react explosively to a lot of things. I think this is true because from my experience, a lot of people who get bad grades in my class think they are really smart and awesome, and whenever somebody contradicts them they literally blow up, acting very unreasonably. Also, a lot of the smarter people are really calm and patient when they are doing something important. They also do not brag a lot and are reasonable. I think this is also evident in the story that I read today, where this smart man is really self-confident, but falls into the blow up category. He is ridiculous, guarding the emperor with flyswatters from little flies and mosquitoes, and is also very excitable. So when he is called to court after the prime minister dies, he speeds to the palace as fast as he can, and even fall into the river because of his excitement. When a sailor laughs at him for some petty things, he strangles the sailor. And when he becomes the new prime minister and hears that a famous genius is coming to steal his position, he is terrified and tries to hide his prime minister hat. The genius has a story about an owl guarding his food from a phoenix who has better food anyways, where the genius is the phoenix and the prime minister is an owl. This makes the prime minister feel very ashamed of him hiding his hat from the genius. As you can see, the prime minister is very obviously in the excitable and ridiculous category.
