Stocks
Recently I have been looking at a few stocks: Microsoft (MSFT), InvenSense (INVN), Wesco Air Holdings (WAIR), and Nintendo (NTDOY).
First of all, I think Microsoft is a good choice for a few reasons. One, Microsoft is tentatively planning Windows 9 for developers September 30, and this will likely boost up the price of stock. The public will get it early next year. Along with the Windows 9 release, Microsoft is working on a combined version of Windows RT and Windows Phone, which might also boost up the stock. Third, the graph shows a steady upwards trend, especially the one year graph.
Second, I think InvenSense is a good investment because it is making the iPhone 6 and iWatch motion sensor chips. With the release to the public rumored for September 16 to late October, The stock would jump very high. Devices like Google Glass, smartwatches, and other phones show higher rates of having gyros and movement chips in them, further boosting Invensense's income. The graphs also seem to have upward trends.
Third, Wesco Air Holdings is probably a good investment because it is becoming incredibly profitable. It has good relations with major companies like Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Airbus, and Raytheon who buy its aerospace products. Also, it has just bought Haas, a chemical company that also supplies to companies like Boeing, Lockheed Martin, etc. This will probably boost stocks even higher. Even though the trend suggest downward prices, I think that the recent acquisitions will drive stocks up.
Fourth, Nintendo seems like a good buy right now. The upcoming release of an iOS TCG will most likely boost revenues and stock prices, as a previously inaccessible on iPad and also not very portable card game will become a portable multiplayer game, increasing the fan base and profits. Other games like Magic: The Gathering and Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft have already made it to the App Store and are in the top grossing and top free sections, especially Hearthstone. Therefore, I think Pokemon, a longer-known and wider-known brand than Warcraft and Magic: The Gathering, will be a massive success.
