Prompt: "It was unlike any place I had ever been..."

The first thing I remembered about yesterday, when I found myself on Mars, was that I had  thought that it was unlike any place I had ever been. I was in Seattle, Washington, last time I checked, but when I woke up in the morning I was on Mars! There were a bunch of aliens surrounding me, and before I knew it, they had me tied up. After that they poked a needle into my skin, and I went unconscious.

When I came to, they had me in a small, sparsely furnished cell, and there was a big alien standing in front of me, holding a humongous gun which looked more like a refrigerator than a gun. He pressed one of the many buttons on his belt, and escorted me out of the room.

After hours and hours of walking, I was finally brought to the largest room I had ever seen. It looked like a palace. The aliens brought me to the center of the palace, and on the floor I saw the words "A Temple for the God Hazra". I suddenly realized that I was to be sacrificed to this god named Hazra. I wriggled out of my bonds, but it was too late - the alien had already pressed the biggest button his belt, and it had a skull on it. Even I could guess what that meant.

The trapdoor under me suddenly fell open, and I fell right through. Then the doors closed above me, and I looked down. The floor of lava was approaching fast. and I could do nothing to stop my fall. On the side of the pit, I saw a maintenance ladder, and reached for it.

One inch away, I struggled to reach the rungs until my arm felt like it was growing needles on the inside. I made one last desperate grab, putting all my weight into the push,  and I got hold of the ladder.

I climbed and climbed until I reached a sewer pipe. From there, I slid all the way into a toilet. I popped out and into the bathroom, and found myself in a rocket hangar.

I knew it was my chance, and I ran straight for the nearest rocket, leaped into the cockpit, and started pressing random buttons. One grabbed my head, the others shot missiles into the hangar, and one even emitted a large fart. I randomly pressed a green button, and suddenly, a portal opened up in front, and I was sucked into it with the rocket.

It felt like I was being stretched and squished, stretched and squished, etc. But finally, I emerged on the other end. I popped right into bed, and the rocket shrank into a small toy, which landed on my bedstand.

Exhausted from my adventure, I pulled the covers toward me, and wondered what would happen tomorrow.
