Why I prefer to use iPad to read

There are many reasons I prefer the iPad Mini to the Kindle Touch when I read.
One reason I prefer the iPad Mini is that it doesn't bug. Sometimes the Kindle will go back to the table of contents or mess up and flip a few pages in the wrong direction while I only wanted to go one page in another direction. Other times the Kindle will zoom in or out when I'm highlighting a word.
Another reason I prefer the iPad Mini is that it shows the full definition of a highlighted word. For example, if you highlight "redundant", it will show the full definition in a popup, and you can scroll through it. The Kindle shows a snippet of the definition and requires you to go to the dictionary to view the full definition and related words, while the iPad doesn't.
The third reason I prefer the iPad Mini is that it is faster and has color. The Kindle is very slow sometimes, and it even freezes occasionally. The iPad Mini flips instantly, highlights faster, and shows pictures in color. The Kindle sometimes can't display pictures or even whole books because of incompatibility or lagging problems (it lags enough already, imagine what would happen if it had to show full pages of pictures or comic strips.)
The fourth reason is that the iPad Mini's is definitely more handy. It has 5.3" by 7.87" size, which I find to be more like a book, and it is infinitely more comfortable to hold and read. Kindle's 6.8" by 4.7" size seems small and hard to hold to me. The iPad Mini is thicker, with a easy to hold case, while the Kindle case is awkward and by itself it just doesn't feel right. The iPad Mini case also has a stand, which makes it so you don't even have to hold it - you just tap it occasionally.
The final reason is that the iPad Mini has a larger screen, and so each screen is exactly one page. That way, there is no losing track of where you are - am I at 456 1/2 or 458 again? It also has a handy bar at the bottom that tells you how much more time there is to the end of the chapter or the book, what location you are at, what page you are at, and even what percent of the book you are at. That way you can record where you are without having to go and figure out how to find where you are.
In conclusion, I think the iPad Mini is a much better device for reading than the Kindle Touch.
